Beautiful Houses: Loft 3514 in New York Posted: 14 May 2010 03:42 AM PDT Following the success of Fabiano's article 'One of the Most Beautiful Houses I've Ever Seen' and also some requests from our readers, we are proud to announce a new post series here at Abduzeedo, a series about Beautiful Houses. The idea in this series is to show beautiful and inspiring houses. Houses that are remarkable for its design, elegance, elements, concept or simply because they are beautiful. So if you like architecture, interior design and beautifully designed houses, you are at the right spot. Check out this week beautiful house and stay tuned for more... This week, we present you the stunning Loft 3514. Loft 3514 is a project by Shelton Mindel & Associates, which is an architectural firm established in 1978. They provide complete architectural, interiors and product design services several kinds of clients, from corporate and cultural to residential. I found a picture of this loft when I was browsing around looking for the next house to show you guys. Since I simply love lofts and this one got my attention immediately, I decided to find more about it. Unfortunately I didn't got much information about the project, idea or concept, but as I found the firm responsible for it and some really nice pictures, I decided to show you the loft anyways. As you will be able to se here, we don't need to have details about the project to notice the beauty, elegance and the contemporary elements on it... I'm almost in love with this loft... the huge and clean spaces, the stairs, the floor and the terrace... everything was very well planned, perfect combination. Also liked this loft? Comic Character Inspiration: Hellboy Posted: 14 May 2010 03:34 AM PDT Hellboy is a comic book character created by writer-artist Mike Mignola. As I'm a big fan of the Hellboy comics, I decided to select several drawings and paintings done by artists and fans of the character around the world and post them here on Abduzeedo. Hellboy is a creature summoned, in the final months of World War II by Grigori Rasputin on Tarmagant Island, off the coast of Scotland, having been commissioned by the Nazis to change the tide of war ("Project Ragna Rok"). He appears in a fireball in a ruined church in East Bromwich, England, on December 23, 1944. Proving not to be a devil, in the traditional sense, but a devil-like creature with red skin, horns, a tail, and a disproportionately large right hand made of red stone, he is dubbed "Hellboy" by Professor Trevor "Broom" Bruttenholm - Wikipedia jpr04 el-grimlock gantian198 witchking08 A demon whose true name is Anung Un Rama (the Beast of the Apocalypse), Hellboy was brought to Earth as an infant by Nazi occultists. In time Hellboy grew to be a large, red-skinned demon with a tail, horns (which he files off, leaving behind the signature circular stumps on his forehead, to make his appearance more "normal"), and an oversized right hand made of stone.
